LPA-Excil are pleased to announce that LumiPanel ® is now fully compliant with the fire test standard BS6853. The product was tested in all four applicable categories; surface spread of flame, heat production, smoke density and toxicity and achieved a category 1a rating, the most demanding category within the specification.

LumiPanel ® is the LPA Excil LED alternative to Fluorescent Luminaires. Utilising high reliability LED technology, LumiPanel ® offers significant energy savings and zero maintenance costs throughout its life expectancy of 100,000 hours to 70% of initial light output.

The compact size of LumiPanel ® at only 20mm thick and 266mm wide offers significant space saving when compared to a fluorescent luminaire.

LED lighting is more responsive to control than fluorescent lighting and LPA Excil offer Dimming Features and Ambient Light Responsive Control Systems for their LED lighting solutions. These controls can reduce running costs even further and help reduce carbon footprint for this truly green lighting solution.

Whilst the initial design was for rail rolling stock 110v dc systems, design of the 230v ac solution for commercial and industrial applications will be completed within the next few weeks.
